Coat
The Redbone Coonhound rarely sheds, and their fur always comes off lightly, because there is so little of it to begin with. Not that they have problems with mange, their coats are just very short and fine. Their fur is always an orange reddish color, and their coat is always soft when properly cared for.
Temperament
The Redbone Coonhound has a slightly more serious nature than some, but to their family, they are a proud, happy, and well energized dog. They love to run around and be active, but just as well, they also enjoy being praised for their good deeds. They are a strong and noble breed.
Training
Redbone Coonhounds are relatively easy to train at any age by using standard training methods of fairness and reward.
